Examinations are conducted in accordance with the latest CBSE guidelines adhere to a well-structured format. The evaluation process encompasses three periodic tests conducted during the academic year, followed by the significant Annual Examination held in the months of July, October, January, and March, respectively.
To gauge students' overall performance, their scores from the periodic tests are considered, specifically the best two Periodic Assessment Marks. These marks carry a weightage of 10% in the final assessment. Additionally, the internal assessment contributes 10% towards the evaluation, while the remaining 80% weightage is assigned to the Annual Examination.
The internal assessment component plays a crucial role in providing a comprehensive evaluation of students' abilities. It encompasses various activities directed by the respective subject teachers, such as subject-wise quizzes, debates, extempore speaking, practical activities, classroom participation, and the timely submission of well-maintained notebooks.
This comprehensive evaluation approach ensures a holistic assessment of students' academic progress, encouraging their participation in a range of scholastic and co-curricular activities. By considering both periodic and internal assessments along with the Annual Examination, the evaluation process aims to provide a fair and accurate representation of students' knowledge and skills
